¡Hola, chicos! ¿Qué tal? ¿Todo bien?
Hi, guys! How are you doing? Everything fine?
Hoy en clase hemos comenzado con la recuperación del minitest de las oraciones relativas.
In today's lesson we began with the rewriting of the minitest of relative clauses.
Pronto tendréis las notas disponibles en eklase.
Soon you will have the marks available in eklase.
Después de esto hemos recordado el presente de indicativo.
Then we have reviewed the present simple.
Muy muy importante, antes de todo, es conocer los pronombres personales.
Very very important, before anything else, is to know the personal pronouns.
yo: I
tú: you (family and friends)
usted: you (formal)
*ud./vd. (short written form for "usted")
él: he
ella: she
nosotros: we
vosotros: you all (family and friends)
ustedes: you all (formal)
*uds./vds. (short written form for "ustedes")
ellos, ellas: they
Lo primero que tenemos que saber es que en español tenemos tres grupos de verbos:
First we need to know that in Spanish we have three groups of verbs:
- AR - ER - IR
Ejemplos -AR: cantar, bailar, mirar.
Examples -AR: cantar (to sing), bailar (to dance), mirar (to look).
Ejemplos -ER: beber, deber, querer.
Examples -ER: beber (to drink), deber (must), querer (to want, to love)
Ejemplos -IR: subir, escribir, vivir.
Examples -IR: subir (to climb), escribir (to write), vivir (to live).
En estos verbos tenemos que quitar los finales (-ar, -er, -ir) y entonces podemos añadir los finales personales.
In those verbs we need to remove the endings (-ar, -er, -ir) and then we can add the personal endings.
Mira la tabla:
Look at the table:
En español tenemos muchos verbos irregulares.
In Spanish we need many irregular verbs.
Algunos de estos verbos irregulares se llaman "verbos bota".
Some of those irregular verbs are called "boot verbs".
Mira un ejemplo y verás porqué.
Look at the example and you will see why.
En el verbo "jugar", la "u" cambia a "ue".
In the verb "jugar" (to play), the "u" changes to "ue".
JUGAR: u>ue
¡¡Pero no cambian todas las personas!!
But not all the persons change!!
Las personas "nosotros" y "vosotros" no cambian.
Persons "nosotros" (we) and "vosotros" (you all) don't change.
¿Por qué?
Why?
¡Fácil! Porque están fuera de la bota. :))
Easy! Because they are out of the boot. :))
Si puedes recordar la forma de la bota, puedes recordar qué personas cambian.
If you can remember the shape of the boot, you can remember which persons change.
Lamentablemente no hay reglas para saber qué verbos son irregulares, tenemos que aprenderlos y practicar mucho, mucho, mucho.
Sadly there are no rules to know which verbs are irregular, we need to learn them and practice a lot, a lot, a lot.
En clase hemos hecho actividades para practicar los verbos regulares y los verbos bota.
DEBERES, 31 DE ENERO
HOMEWORK, 31st JANUARY
Chicos, en casa tenemos que practicar los verbos en presente de indicativo.

REALLY IMPORTANT!!!
La próxima semana haremos una actividad con nota (1-10) con estos verbos bota:
Next week we will do a
graded activity (1-10) with these boot verbs:
Chicos, la próxima semana voy a preguntaros estos verbos, tenéis que saberlos (todas las personas).
Guys, next week I will ask you these verbs, you have to know them (all the persons).
Por ejemplo:
For example:
Pensar (to think): pienso, piensas, piensa, pensamos, pensáis, piensan.
Chicos, esta semana practicad mucho. El presente de indicativo es muy importante y vamos a hacer muchas actividades con nota y minitests para practicarlos y aprenderlos.
Guys, this week practice a lot. The present simple tense is really important and we are going to do many graded activities and minitests to practice and learn them.
¡Si practicamos, nada es difícil! ;)
If we practice, difficult is nothing! ;)
